GUSTAVO M. LOLI died on Friday,
December 7, at the age of 81. He was the
beloved husband of Aurora Loli, loving
father of Gustavo Loli, Luis Loli and
Omar Loli, and cherished grandfather
of George, Luis, Melina, Gianfranco
and Gianluca. Services were off ered
on Tuesday, December 11, at Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth,
followed by cremation at Fresh
Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

GIUSEPPE RAPPA died on Friday,
December 7, at the age of 85. He was the
beloved husband of Giuseppa Rappi,
loving father of Madolena Arcabascio
and Angelo Rappa, father-in-law of Joseph
and Maria, and cherished grandfather
of Rose Andrea and Gianpiero
Vicari, Sandra, Daniela, Marcella and
Jacqueline. A Mass of Christian Burial
was off ered on Tuesday, December 11,
at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church,
Forest Hills, followed by entombment at
St. John Cemetery Christ the Redeemer
Mausoleum, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

BARBARA STRUBEL of Corona
died on Friday, December 7, at the age
of 73. A native of Brooklyn, she was
the wife of the late Edward Strubel, devoted
mother of Andrew Strubel and
Barbara Ann Strubel and dear sister
of Nicholas Lehr. She is also survived
by two grandchildren. Services were
offered at Morton Funeral Home/
Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood, by Reverend Michael
T. Ross, followed by interment at Linden
Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood.

IRMA N. ZENGAY died on Thursday,
December 6, at the age of 83. She
was the wife of the late Alberto Zengay
and loving mother of Alberto Zengay
and the late William Zengay. A private
cremation was held on Tuesday,
December 11, at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

Wednesday, December 5, at the age of
78. She was the beloved wife of Virgilio
Lino Stellio, loving mother of the late
Vincenzo Stellio, mother-in-law of Deborah
and cherished grandmother of
Vincent Stellio. Services were off ered
on Saturday, December 8, at Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth, followed by entombment at
Cimitero di Lioni, Avellino, Italy.

SIDONIA MENDREA of Woodside
died on Wednesday, December 5, at
the age of 82. A native of Nicolinci,
Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the
late Jon Mendrea, devoted mother of
Doina Savu and Marioara French and
dear sister of Cornel Ljuba. She is also
survived by four grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. Services

Ave., Ridgewood, by Reverend Dimitri
Musta, followed by entombment at All
Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.
