Santa stops by Glendale tree lighting
Hundreds of children of all ages
enjoyed a guest appearance
by Santa Claus during the
Glendale community’s annual tree
lighting on Sunday, Dec. 9. The festivities,
sponsored by the Kiwanis Club
of Glendale, took place at the Glendale
Veterans Triangle located at the corner
of Myrtle and Cooper avenues. Glendale
Kiwanis President Tony Sauro
along with City Councilman Robert
Holden and Assemblyman Mike Miller
greeted the attendees. The Joe Fuoco
Music Center was among the many
groups that provided entertainment.
Finally, Santa rode in on a classic
convertible to greet the children and
provide gift s to attendees.
