Brooklyn-based Blackrose Property Group purchased the home and adjacent lot at 67-16 60th St. in February of this year for a little more than $1 million, according to PropertyShark. Peter Chernoff of Blackrose Property Group indicated the new townhouse would be built on the adjacent lot. The home itself would be renovated. The plans, submitted by Briarwood architect Gerald Caliendo, call for the construction of a 3,830-square-foot, three-story building. It’ll be divided into two duplex apartments — one on the basement and ground floors and part of the second floor; the upper apartment will include part of the second floor as well as the entire top floor. According to the DOB database, the plans are under review and subject to zoning approval. The site is located in an R5B residential zoning district, which permits a building with a maximum square footage of 4,860. New York YIMBY fi rst reported the story.
