Mira’s music is from Ecuador and Colombia
while Inkhay plays indigenous

4. Support the community on It’s
My Park Day! The Briarwood/Kew
Gardens Lions Club is hosting a day
for park cleanup. There will also be
a table where you can write notes for
deployed troops and veterans to be
delivered on Veterans’ Day. This event
is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hoover Park
and Playground, on Manton Street
between 83rd Avenue and Main Street.
5. Help raise awareness for sudden
cardiac arrest at the “Copacabana”
Red Gala! Wear red to this event that
includes cocktails, dinner, awards,

with the creators! Exhibition curator
