BWG teams win big in Middle Village and Ridgewood
The youngest Blau Weiss
Gottschee (BWG) players took
the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 16 to
face off against the youngsters from
the New York Cosmos.
At Juniper Valley Park in Middle
Village the BWG 2006 Blue team
breezed past the Cosmos 8-2 in their
contest, while the second BWG 2006
White team played to a 2-2 tie. At
Grover Cleveland Park in Ridgewood,
the BWG 2005 team blanked the Cosmos
7-0.
