Community Day helps bring Glendale closer together
The Kiwanis Club of Glendale
made one of the fi nal Saturdays
of summer truly special during
their annual Community Day on Sept.
9 at The Shops at Atlas Park. Club
members hosted a day of fun activities
for guests of all ages, including games,
raffl es, rides, face painting, and music
and dance performances. The club also
took the opportunity to honor the
members of Engine Company 286/
Ladder Company 135 in Glendale and
the late Firefi ghter William Tolley, a
Ladder 135 member who died in April
