FOR BREAKING NEWS VISIT www.timesnewsweekly.com SEPTEMBER 10, 2015 • TIMES 33 Summer nights of fun at Ridgewood festival From tasty treats to exciting rides, there was something for everyone to enjoy during the annual Fresh Pond Road street festival held on four consecutive nights, Sept. 3 through 6, along the Ridgewood thoroughfare between Menahan and Woodbine streets. Organized by the Federazione Italo-Americana di Brooklyn and Queens, the festivities included an assortment of food vendors, carnival games, amusement rides and live music. For the first time, the festival also featured a tent that the federazione sponsored which displayed antique household items, historic images of Ridgewood and work from the organization’s first Art and Poetry Contest.
