died on Thursday, August 2, at the age
of 22. A native of Lapy, Poland, he was
the loving son of Leszek Brzozowski and
Jolanta Brzozowski and dear brother of
Adam Brzozowski. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered at St. Aloysius Church,
Ridgewood, followed by interment at St.
John Cemetery, Middle Village, under
the direction of Morton Funeral Home/

August 2, at the age of 85. He was the beloved
husband of Rosary Insalaco, loving
father of Frank Insalaco and Leonard
Insalaco and cherished grandfather of
Stephanie, Frank and Leonard. A Mass of

August 1, at the age of 47. She was the
loving daughter of Priscilla Papapietro and
the late Vito Papapietro, cherished sister of

brother of Michele Morales, dear brotherin

died on Monday, July 30, at the age of 37. He
was the beloved son of Nery and Domingo
Acosta, cherished grandson of Jacinto
Quijano and loving nephew of Lucy and
Polo Montes, Carmen and Rolando Moroto,
Manuel and Clara Quijano and Felipe and
Fabiana Quijano. He is also survived by
many loving cousins and friends. A Mass

age of 92. She was a native of Winthrop,

CARMEN GARCIA of Maspeth died
on Saturday, July 28, at the age of 77. A
native of Puerto Rico, she was the beloved
wife of Roberto Gonzalez, devoted
mother of Robert, Sandra, Leticia and
Yolanda Gonzalez, loving daughter of
Manuel and Josephina Garcia and dear
sister of Ramon, Rosita, Maria, Jesus and
Louisa Garcia. She is also survived by 13
grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was also an active member of
St. Cecilia and Holy Agony Parish, Manhattan.
A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered at St. Cecilia and Holy Agony Parish,
Manhattan, followed by interment at
St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY,

Walter T. Colligan, age 95,
passed away on August 5, 2018.
He was a former resident of Ridgewood and Bayside, Queens.
Born in Brooklyn, Walter was a WWII veteran having served in the Army Air
Corps. He was a retired attorney and CPA.
Walter was a longtime member of The Ancient Order of the Hibernians and
a Lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus,
Long Island Council.
Walter was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary, brother Francis and
sister, Kate. He is survived by his sister Jane. He leaves behind many nieces
and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial to take place at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
in Ridgewood, NY at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 11, 2018. Internment at
St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
