For its third edition, Joey Morant,
one of the most exciting and dynamic
trumpeters ever, is set to perform at
Socrates Sculpture Park! Morant has
performed with many famous artists,

play a unique blend of dixieland, soul,

Enjoy a day-long, cross-borough battle of brains, brawn and bellies at
“Arbitration Rock!,” a festival at the Onderdonk House in Ridgewood this
Saturday, Aug. 11. It’s a day-long celebration of the 1769 arbitration agreement
between Newtown, Queens and Bushwick, Brooklyn. Residents of
both boroughs will battle it out over a series of events that will test wits,
skills, knowledge, and luck. The borough with the most points aft er all
of the events will win bragging rights to the fi rst annual Battle of the
Borough Trophy. Open to people of all ages with a $5 suggested donation.
There will be arts and craft s by Supermoon Art Space, food courtesy of
the Kiwanis Club of Ridgewood and beer (for adults) from the Bridge and
