Ridgewood died on Sunday, July 15,
at the age of 76. A native of Arecibo,
Puerto Rico, she was the beloved
wife of Miguel Viruet and Julio Barrios,
devoted mother of Miguelina
Viruet, Jose Viruet and Jenny Rios,
loving daughter of Jose Maldonado
and America Ruiz and dear sister of
Jose Maldonado, Natividad Gonzalez
and Hilda Maldonado. She is also
survived by 19 grandchildren and
31 great-grandchildren. A Mass of
Christian Burial was off ered at St.
Brigid Church, Brooklyn, followed
by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery,
Ridgewood, under the direction of
San Jose Funeral Home-Funeraria,
289 St. Nicholas Ave., Ridgewood.

82. A native of New York, he was the
