The Amateur Astronomers Association
of New York are providing telescopes
and instructions on how to identify objects
in the sky. This free event takes place at
Hunters Point South Park, Center Boulevard,

Mid-Summer Pow Wow! From 6 to 10
p.m., NYC’s oldest and largest pow wow
will feature three days of Native American
dancing competitions for the public
to see! More than 40 Indian nations will
be represent in the apple orchard on the
farm grounds with a large selection of
Native American art, craft s, jewelry
and food for sale. This is an all-weekend
event! DAY PASS is $10 for adults & $5
