See page 8 IDEA TO ADD PARKING IN GLENDALE SEE PAGE 4 Couple found dead in apparent murder-suicide in Bushwick BY ANTHONY GIUDICE agiudice@ridgewoodtimes.com @A_GiudiceReport A couple was found dead inside of their Bushwick home with gunshot wounds to their heads in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide. Offi cers from the 83rd Precinct responded to a 911 call at approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, at 526 Central Ave., police said. Inside the home, both Elizabeth Thompkins, 22, and Christopher Pickering, 37, were found dead. Police recovered a weapon — a 9-mm handgun — at the scene. Investigators believe that Pickering fi rst shot Thompkins before taking his own life. The investigation is currently ongoing.
