Yoga: Ridgewood Friday Night Community Flow Get energized for the weekend by joining in a community flow at Ridgewood Yoga Studio. In their backyard, the restaurant is hosting yoga every Saturday through summertime. Class starts at 11:30 a.m. and is 60 minutes long, and requires that you bring your own mat. On Sunday, join local fellow green thumbs at an open meeting discussing opportunities for building green spaces in the neighborhood. The meeting is free, starts at 2 p.m., and takes place at 1882 Woodbine St. Bring Your Own Vinyl @ Queens Tavern If you want to show off your record collection, fill a bag and park it at Queens Tavern on Sunday night. The Bunker celebrates the Fourth of July with a backyard party at Trans-Pecos music and arts venue in Ridgewood featuring four electronic musicians. The show kicks off at 1 p.m. and goes through 8 p.m. and the venue is located at 9-15 Wyckoff Ave. TUESDAY, JULY 5 Learning: King of Capital and Knights of Labor @ Nowadays ($10) Think Olio is a new lecture featuring JUNE30 6 series salon-style classes, taught by college professors at hip establishments, for people who want to expand their worldview. This week’s class presents a short history of the rise of the Union movement as a response to changing work conditions brought about by the process of industrialization from the 1830s to the 20th century. The presentation also looks at the diverse groups of men, women and immigrants who helped shape the development of the labor movement.
