MARY P. HIGGINS (nee GALLAGHER) died on Sunday, May 1, at the age of 83. A lifelong resident of Ridgewood, she was born to the late Mary and Jack on March 8, 1933. Shew as a graduate of Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal School. Mary worked for many years in the employment industry before retiring. She is survived by her beloved son, Bill, many cousins and lifetime friends. Her generous, warm and caring nature will be missed by all who knew her. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II.
