The woman, who is in her mid 30s, was found lying on the ground between two parked cars on Goodwin Place at Greene Avenue. Trauma to her face is among her injuries; one of her eye sockets was especially battered. The woman was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where she has already undergone surgery and may undergo more. She is conscious but has no memory of the assault that caused her injuries, police say. No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation; it’s unknown whether the attack was sexual in nature. Four cuffed in latest Ridgewood sex sale sting These guys keep falling for the same “losing proposition.” Four men looking for a good time on a discount were busted last weekend in the 104th Precinct’s latest prostitution bust in Ridgewood near the Brooklyn/Queens border, police announced on Monday night. According to authorities, the arrests were made between 8 and 10 p.m. on Friday, April 29, in the vicinity of Cypress Avenue and Starr Street, a known prostitution hotspot for years. Police said the four men — Henryk Samociuk, 58, of Brooklyn; Tadeusz Zyskowski, 59, of Ridgewood; Ming Ye, 39, of Elmhurst; and Joe Cardenas, 42, of Bay Shore, NY — allegedly offered anywhere from $10 to $50 to undercover officers posing as prostitutes in exchange for various sex acts. All four were subsequently taken into custody on charges of patronizing a prostitute. It was the latest “Operation Losing Proposition” sting that the 104th Precinct conducted in the neighborhood. Earlier in the month, cops nabbed four other men for soliciting undercover agents in the area. The NYPD conducts “Losing Proposition” stings in areas across the city known to be hotbeds for illegal sex sales. 83rd Precinct Bushwick Photo courtesy of NYPD
