Law enforcement sources said 53-year-old Raul Reyes of Wilson Avenue fled after the van he allegedly operated hit 36-yearold Kamil Gorski of San Marcos, Ca., who was attempting to cross Metropolitan Avenue at 62nd Street at about 7:55 p.m. Tuesday. According to information obtained by detectives, Gorski was walking south to north across the avenue when he was struck by Reyes’ van, which was traveling eastbound along Metropolitan Avenue. Gorski then reportedly fell into the westbound side of Metropolitan Avenue and was hit a second time by a blue, fourdoor sedan.
