For four consecutive weekends starting on Nov. 26, vendors will set up at The Lot, located at 43-29 Crescent St. in Long Island City. The Lot is an indoor and outdoor tented space, owned by Rockrose Development Corp. Many of the same vendors from LIC Flea & Food will return and several new vendors who have the holiday shopping spirit in mind will debut their food, jewelry, fashion, furniture, arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles and more. “We are thrilled to work with Rockrose Development Corp. to ensure Queens’ largest market stays in Long Island City for the holiday season just blocks from our outdoor market,” said Market President Josh Schneps. “The LIC Flea Holiday Market will be an opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts you won’t be able to find anywhere else from local vendors who make and curate unique items as well as enjoy a diverse group of food vendors, drinks and entertainment.” The market will also have live music, pictures with Santa Claus and other fun activities. Special events will be planned for each weekend. “We are very excited to host the LIC Flea Holiday Market and to be part of the continuing renaissance of Court Square, the center of LIC,” said Justin Elghanayan, president of Rockrose Development Corp. Interested vendors can apply to sell at what will be the biggest market of its kind in Queens County. From small artisan businesses to more established ones, all are welcome to apply at www. LICFlea.com. “We are delighted that the Holiday Market will be returning again, this time to The Lot, helping to activate this central area of LIC,” said LIC Partnership President Elizabeth Lusskin. We applaud Rockrose and the LIC Flea Holiday Market for bringing this festive, high-quality market to serve the residents, employees and visitors of LIC.”
