The popular Long Island City market, located at Fifth Street and 46th Avenue, will continue to be opened every Saturday and Sunday through the end of October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors still have a chance to come out and sip a brew from the All Queens Beer Garden which serves selections from Big Alice brewing, Finback Brewery, SingleCut Beer Smiths, Rockaway Beer Company, Queens Brewery, Bridge and Tunnel Brewery, and LIC Beer Project. The LIC Flea also continues to celebrate Oktoberfest with a pumpkin patch, hearty fare from food vendors, and warm beverages such as cider from Lizzmonade. On Sunday, the market will welcome back HGTV as it shoots another episode of “Flea Market Flip.” Come and meet host Lara Spencer, have an opportunity to own a one-ofa kind piece for your home or office, and if the mood fits you, be on TV. Even though the outdoor market is coming to an end, the LIC Flea indoor holiday market will so be announced so follow the market on Facebook at www.facebook.com/licflea to stay up to date with information on dates and location. Also, on Saturday the LIC Flea will be stepping out of the northwest part of Queens and hopping over to the Shops at Atlas Park to host a pop up celebrating Oktoberfest. Visitors will find great beer and a selection of some of the best flea vendors. The pop-up will be open from noon to 8 p.m. at 8040 Cooper Ave. in Glendale.
