People in Queens Parks” Photo Contest!
If you have a love for photography and
the borough of Queens, we have a contest
that’ll make you smile in a fl ash.
Th e Queens Courier and the New York
City Department of Parks and Recreation
are teaming up to present the “Salute to
People in Queens Parks” photo contest.
We’re looking for photographers of all
levels to submit their best photos people
enjoying themselves of Queens parks.
Th e contest is divided into two categories:
groups and individuals. It will showcase
men, women and children enjoying
everything that Queens parks has to off er.
Each category has 12 fi nalists, and all
fi nalists will have their pictures on display
at the Queens Museum as part of a special
exhibit. One fi nalist from each category
will be selected as overall fi nalists for
the grand prize: a $100 gift card to a fi ne
dining establishment in Queens. Th e second
overall fi nalist will receive a $75 dining
gift card, and the third overall fi nalist
will receive a $50 dining gift card.
