This program is an interactive art event where volunteers and members of the community come out to Washington Square Park every Saturday of the summer at 9 p.m. and illuminate the night with multicolored “Friendship Lights.” Giambanco had a dream that people from all walks of life could be united by tiny glowing lights and is now making that into a reality.
