 SCHOOL OF DENTAL SCIENCES 
 With an emphasis on the theory, practice, and clinical aspects of oral healthcare, the School of Dental  
 Sciences is committed to socially responsible education and patient care with highly visible and active  
 service to the public in our state-of-the-art, on-site Community Dental Clinic. Students in the Dental  
 Hygiene program will become compassionate and caring practitioners with a sincere sense of responsibility  
 to the health of individual patients and communities. 
 We offer the following programs: Now accepting applications 
 Dental Hygiene (AAS) 
 Dental Hygiene is a 76 credit Associate of Applied Sciences  
 degree program consisting of courses in nutrition, radiology,  
 medical emergencies, and clinical patient care. Prior to  
 graduation, students will treat patients in the on-site  
 Community Dental Clinic. 
 Dental Hygiene (BS) 
 The Bachelor of Science completion program in Dental  
 Hygiene complements the Associate of Applied Science  
 (A.A.S.) degree in Dental Hygiene with a seamless transition.  
 Enrollment in and completion of the B.S. is only offered to  
 licensed dental hygienists* that are graduates of an  
 associate level program accredited by the Commission on  
 Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental  
 Association. Entry-level students seeking clinical licensure  
 must first enroll and complete the Dental Hygiene A.A.S. 
 for January 2021 enrollment.
