COVID SAFETY:
During this time of Covid 19, You must wear a mask to enter our practice. You
will quickly see the waiting room has less seats that are socially distanced. You
will greeted by the receptionist, who will check your temperature with a touchless
scanner, and give you hand sanitizer. After a few simple screening questions, you
are ready for your dental care. All of our staff is screened with temperature checks
daily and must wear a mask. Staff involved with direct patient treatment are wearing
head covers, gowns, masks and face shield when indicated. The treatment rooms
are sanitized after each patient and the instruments are put through a rigorous
sterilization process in Our state of the art sterile center. The common areas of the
office are sanitized multiple times during the day.

ABOUT DR. INESSA KANDOV:
Dr. Inessa Kandov is a board-certified specialist in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Raised in New York City, Dr. Kandov received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. John’s
University with a Summa Cum Laude distinction. She then went on to The State University of New
York at Stony Brook where she graduated Valedictorian with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Kandov is a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and
is the recipient of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Academic Achievement
Award. Dr. Kandov practiced as a general dentist for several years. She completed her Orthodontic
residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she earned her certificate
in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Conveniently located in Bayside, her office features
the most updated technology available, including intraoral scanners and 3D x-rays. She
offers cosmetic teeth-straightening options so that you can get the smile you deserve without
having to worry about a mouthful of wires. She is an Invisalign Gold Provider and is an active
member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New York
State Dental Association and The Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.
COVID SAFETY:
All CDC Covid19 guidelines are being followed and we are taking every step necessary to
ensure we maintain the safest possible office environment. We have significantly elevated our
stringent protocols of sterilization and infection control in the office. We have added HEPA
and UV light air purifiers throughout the office for disinfection. All members of our team are
being evaluated daily to make sure they are at peak health, and we are utilizing personal
protective equipment (PPE) for examinations and treatments. Please wear a mask, observe the
social distancing measures of six feet between you and other guests. Please reschedule if you
have a fever or are feeling symptoms.

ABOUT DR. RICHARD S. CORBIN:
Dr. Richard Corbin is a 1989 graduate of Columbia University’s School of Dental
and Oral Surgery. He completed a general practice residency program at St. Luke’s-
Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Corbin performs all phases of general dentistry
with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association,
and New Jersey State Dental Association. Dr. Richard Corbin is certified in Laser-
Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP), Invisalign, Oral Conscious Sedation
and Sleep Dentistry. Dr. Richard Corbin has created thousands of smile makeovers

Corbin Dental always maintained a commitment to following all recommended infection control
guidelines and practices to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff. Infection
control is the highest priority and exceeds all OSHA, ADA, CDC and local governing board
requirements through strict sterilization and cleaning procedures. In response to the recent
COVID-19 pandemic, we have augmented our infection control protocols to promote social
distancing and prevent the spread of the coronavirus. If you are sick or have been exposed to
the coronavirus, reschedule your appointment. Please wait at least 14 days after returning from
travel to visit our office. Check in can be completed in your car before entering the office. All
staff will be wearing appropriate PPE at all times.Medical grade HEPA air filtration has been
added to our offices to minimize airborne pathogens. Patients must wear a mask at all times
unless being treated. All patients will complete a COVID-19 questionnaire and health screening,
temperatures will be taken upon arrival with a digital thermometer.
