Through the New York Children’s Festival, thousands of children and families, regardless of their backgrounds, have the opportunity to learn and appreciate the rich culture of Korea. Our theme this year will be Seollal, also known as, Lunar New Year. We will have traditional games and crafts connected to the holiday, as well as Taekwondo, Samulnori (traditional percussion band), and masked storytelling performances.
