SATURDAY, JUNE 15 From now through the end of August, The Louis Armstrong House Museum will be hosting an exclusive exhibit: Swingin’ with the All Stars: Louis Armstrong and Baseball. Located at 34-56 107th Street in Corona, the museum is offering free entrance to the exhibit with the price of admission, which is $10, or $7 for seniors, students, and children. The exhibit focuses on Armstrong’s fascination with baseball and features several photos and artifacts sequencing the jazz legend’s involvement with the New York’s top players during the height of his fame. SATURDAY, JUNE 23 Starting at 1 p.m., join the Urban Rangers will be teaching the ancient art of archery. The workshop will instruct participants on the safe and proper way to use a bow and arrow. For adults, teens, and children over eight years old. All equipment is provided and personal equipment is not allowed.
