Flushing Hospital hosts health fair for students On Thursday, May 16, F l u s h i n g H o s p i t a l Medical Center p a r t n e r e d with the NYC Department of Education and the Flushing YWCA to host a Day of Health and Education Photo Courtesy Flushing Hospital for over 80 students from the YWCA’s ESL class. The students were screened for hypertension and diabetes and oral health. In addition, the students attended lectures on the importance of hearth health, stroke alertness and nutrition.
