Artist Clare Stokolosa portrays multi-generation women in all of their relationships in a solo art show at Boricua College Art Gallery. “I love painting and want my portraits to evoke emotions that are both personal and universal,” says Stokolosa. Clare is holding gallery talks at Boricua College Art Gallery on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday April 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Galleria Nationale in Cortona Italy run by Gina Maria Cosignani represents her in Italy. Clare is an artist and has taught art for 27 years. She presently mentors art teachers for The NYC Department of Education. Her paintings span a variety of subjects, from panoramas of the Italian countryside to cityscapes of New York. Her work also includes portraits and still-life.
