This QPTV series helps educate, motivate and inspire young girls in pursuing those careers. Green Girls is an after-school and summer program organized by the City Parks Foundation connecting girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades with STEM, photography, video and NYC’s great outdoors. Participants experience and enjoy science learning, service projects, adventures, and taking action in the community. In this episode, the girls learn about drinking water education in New York City, including watersheds, the way water is used, and the way we treat water once it is used.
