One of those speakers will be Miss New York. Renowned coach Monica Holmes will also be doing sports evaluations for athletes of all levels. The event offers even more for attendees. It will feature a runway fashion show with models of all sizes; a “Bright Ideas” middle school and high school science fair; a career and college fair; an art show, dancers, live music; and a vendor marketplace with booths of clothing, jewelry, books, art and salon items. A Girls of Merit Brunch will honor 15 local girls for their excellence and outstanding work in the community from 9:30am-11am.
