The Queens NY Camp Fair took place on Sunday, February 23 at the Hall of Science in Corona. The free event offered Queens and Long Island families of children between the ages of 2 to 18 information on day, sleepaway and specialty summer camps. During the fair, families were given samples and demonstrations from over 30 vendors on how to fi nd the best camps for children, with interests ranging from sports to cooking. Exhibitors included 82nd Street Academics, Adirondack Woodcraft Camps, Applebee’s, Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camps, Beth Sholom Day Camp, Camp Birch Hill, Camp Chinqueka and Camp Awosting, Camp Wingate Kirkland, Frost Valley YMCA, Mid Island Air Service Aero Camp, the Museum of the Moving Image, New York Cosmos, Summer Institute for the Gifted, Urban Sitter, Usdan Center, United States Tennis Association, Wildlife Conservation Society, and many more. The Queens NY Camp Fair was sponsored by Queens Mamas, Offspring Magazine, the New York Hall of Science, Oasis Day Camp and American Camp Association of NY & NJ.
