Knowledge and its application to everyday life, character building, and a strong foundation in Christian values are the attributes that are imparted to our students. Saint Stanislaus School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and offers a comprehensive instructional program for a Nursery Program for three year olds on a three day or five day schedule, a free half day UPK and a full day Pre Kindergarten program for 4 year olds, a full day Kindergarten, and instruction for students in grades one through eight. Instructional programs include a second language program, computer/laptop/iPad instruction, physical education, and music theory and art education programs for its students in Kindergarten through grade eight. These programs are designed to provide the students with every advantage to excel and to be groomed for accelerated programs when they enter high school. The school features a newly renovated state of the art computer lab with wireless Internet access throughout the school, SMART Boards in each classroom, and a multi media center and library. An Algebra Common Core Enrichment Program is offered to eighth grade students and an emphasis is placed on building leadership skills and strengthening self-confidence through its Student Leadership Organization. Before and after school programs which feature a Martial Arts and Zumba Programs are available to the students and offer assistance to working parents. Free remedial math and language programs assist students having difficulties in these areas. Parents play an important role in the education of St. Stanislaus Kostka’s students. “Parents are always invited to be a part of class activities which are advertised on the monthly calendar of the school,” says Principal Sister Rose Torma. “Parents are also volunteers within the classrooms and support every program and activity planned for the children.” A diverse and abundance of activities and programs are provided to all students at St. Stanislaus Kostka School. These include, but are not limited to, math, spelling, religion and geography bees aimed at enriching the academic lives of the students. Students are also encouraged to participate in poetry, story-telling and oratorical assemblies. The eighth grade enjoys the annual trip to Philadelphia to experience American history firsthand. The school band, drama club, yearly talent show, scouting, sports and cheerleading programs round out the curriculum. Through the many school-related and after school activities, students identify their talents and are able to pursue their own interests and abilities to develop them to the fullest. All activities have as their goal to help students to develop into the people they are meant to be.
