DOE, A DEER Unlikely animal sighting at Towers BY MAGGIE HAYES November brought feelings of the holidays, crisper weather and some new friends to the North Shore Towers. A deer was spotted roaming around the golf course, much to the surprise of residents and board members. Bob Ricken, Board President, was surprised to hear of the animal sighting and said it was strange for a deer to be in the borough as he questioned what neighboring town it could have come from. Glen Kotowski, General Manager, echoed this and said the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) called it unusual as well. As winter pushes on, be sure to keep a look out for any more furry friends on the grounds. PHOTO COURTESY OF GLEN KOTOWSKI
