Available Please Call And Ask For Our Catering Specialist   Celebrate  Fall  with  Kupferberg  Center  for  the  Arts.   Tickets  On  Sale  Now  for  Gladys  Knight,  Moscow  State  Symphony  Orchestra,  and   Vienna  Boys  Choir.     Gladys  Knight,  Moscow  State  Symphony  Orchestra,  and  Vienna  Boys  Choir  will  visit  Queens  this  Fall,  as   Kupferberg  Center  for  the  Arts  brings  another  incomparable  season  of  music,  dance,  and  entertainment   to  the  leading  performing  arts  center  in  the  borough.     Following  a  sell-­‐out  performance  by  Johnny  Mathis  last  Sunday,  Gladys  Knight  will  perform  at  Colden   Auditorium  on  November  7,  2014.  Gladys  Knight  achieved  icon  status  with  the  Pips,  having  recorded   some  of  the  most  memorable  songs  of  the  1960s,  1970s,  and  1980s.  Very  few  singers  over  the  last  fifty   years  have  matched  her  unassailable  artistry.  This  seven-­‐time  Grammy  winner  has  enjoyed  #1  hits  in   Pop,  Gospel,  R&B,  and  Adult  Contemporary,  including  beloved  countless  gold-­‐certified  singles  like   "Neither  One  of  Us  (Wants  to  be  the  First  to  Say  Goodbye),"  "I've  Got  to  Use  My  Imagination,"  "Midnight   Train  to  Georgia,"  and  the  classic  "That's  What  Friends  are  For."       On  November  15,  Moscow  State  Symphony  Orchestra  featuring  Nadja  Salerno-­‐Sonnenberg,  a  fiercely   original  and  deeply  emotive  violinist,  will  perform  at  Kupferberg  Center.  The  Orchestra  balances   orchestral,  operatic,  and  choral  classics  with  equally  significant  music  of  the  21st  century,  and  will   perform  audience  favorites  from  Tchaikovsky,  Bruch,  and  Brahms  at  their  not  to  be  missed  concert  in   Queens.       The  spirit  of  the  Christmas  season  comes  to  life  when  the  angelic  Vienna  Boys  Choir  visits  Kupferberg   Center  for  their  joyous  holiday  concert  on  December  7,  2014.  This  celebrated  choir  will  perform  a   program  of  classical  and  popular  music  that  includes  traditional  Christmas  carols,  Gregorian  chants,   songs  from  around  the  world,  and  popular  holiday  favorites.  This  spectacular  concert  will  be  a   heartwarming  evening  of  music  for  the  entire  family  to  enjoy.     “Kupferberg  Center  for  the  Arts  is  looking  forward  to  another  year  filled  with  the  best  performances   from  the  worlds  of  music,  dance,  and  popular  culture,”  said  Jeff  Rosenstock,  Executive  Director.  “We  are   excited  to  have  such  esteemed  performers  as  Gladys  Knight,  Vienna  Boys  Choir,  and  Moscow  State   Symphony  Orchestra,  as  part  of  our  2014-­‐2015  season.  We  invite  the  residents  of  Queens  and  the  New   York  City  area  to  join  us  at  these  performances  and  hope  that  our  passion  for  providing  world-­‐class   entertainment  in  a  friendly  and  local  atmosphere  shines  through  to  new  and  old  patrons  alike.”       Kupferberg  Center  for  the  Arts  is  located  at  65-­‐30  Kissena  Boulevard  on  the  campus  of  Queens  College.   Tickets  are  available  online  at  www.kupferbergcenter.org,  by  phone  at  718-­‐793-­‐8080,  and  at  the   Kupferberg  Center  for  the  Arts  Box  Office  located  in  Colden  Auditorium.  Group  Sales  Discounts  are   available  for  parties  of  10  or  more  on  select  performances.           Send us your Letters, Pictures, and Family Events.
