The Cycle of Life…Happily Ever After
BY KAREN PERRY
As you’ll recall from last
month’s column, Carol
Klinger’s creative knitted
quadriptych window display depicts
a young couple at their wedding,
with a glowing bride and a ceremo-ny
fit for a queen. A year later, there
is the joyful birth of their daughter
and the young mother joyfully pa-rades
her baby around the park. The
baby girl grows up into a poised,
intelligent student and heads off to
college.
But that was only three of the four
displays, and you may remember we
left you in suspense as to how our
lovely family wound up.
This month, we find out that the
cycle is complete: The couple now
finds themselves empty-nesters
and are not too happy in their big
but all too quiet house. They’re
thinking about downsizing, and a
friend encourages them to look at
North Shore Towers. They fall in
love with the first apartment they
see (of course!). They pack up their
house full of fond memories and
head off to a new life at The Towers.
Life at North Shore Towers is
very good. They are relishing their
new life and, just as happens in
every fairy tale, they live happily
ever after.
