that Mary Anne wasn’t working
under normal conditions. “Her
office is under construction and
she had no internet or printer,” she
said. It wasn’t easy, but no surprise,
Mary Anne pulled it off and got all
the programs printed and the tent
set up beautifully.
A GREAT SUCCESS
It was especially meaningful
that two representatives from the
American Cancer Society, June
Ingraham and Megan Stewart,
came by to express their appreciation
to North Shore Towers for
its continuing support over the
years. In addition to the $3,000
from raffles, the fundraiser pulled
in $1,400 from its Sponsor-a-Hole
and another $2,000 from the Tree
of Life. That’s in addition to the
more than $20,000 that had been
contributed by the day of the event.
Now that’s a s great success!
“The people in our community
are very giving,” Teri said. “It was
a great day. I’m just so grateful the
weather held!”
