Women’s Club Happenings 34 North Shore Towers Courier n January 2016 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun BY VICKI MAZEL • PHOTOS BY DAWN STEINBERG Towers on the Green was rocking during the Women’s Club Holiday party held on Wednesday, December 16th. Conga lines, horas, holiday songs, yellow roses and a beautiful buffet dinner, catered by Buffy and her staff, made the evening memorable. Entertainment by Doug Leblang rounded out the festivities for the members only event. Future programs are in the works, including lecturer Terry Rabinowitz, MSW, LCSW, speaking on Wednesday, January 13, at 7:30 pm, in the lower card room near the movie theater. A psychotherapist, Rabinowitz focuses on repairing short or long term emotional difficulties that people may encounter. Another area that she will address is confidence; how to attain your own source of well-being. Stay tuned in Wednesday, February 17th, at 7:30 pm, in the lower card room for an informative evening with physical therapist, Yuliya Davydova, MPT. The topic? “It’s Never Too Late!” Discover the benefits of physical therapy to restore strength and function for a better quality of life. The Women’s Club will continue to plan programs dedicated to providing information in areas of interest to our members. We welcome your ideas and invite you to participate.
