WARRIOR New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Matthew
Ortiz, a Bethpage resident and member of the 1st Battalion,
69th Infantry will be participating in the Army National Guard's
Best Warrior Competition at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. 9.
DISTINGUISHED YOUTH AWARD Daniel Thompson, who
just completed his freshman year at Deer Park High School,
receives a gold medal for his participation in the Suffolk
County Legislature’s 2019-2020 Distinguished Youth Award
