University.
Idowu Ogundipe
Ogundipe has
joined the Island
Pa rk Publ ic
Schools as school
business administrator.
He previously
served as school business
official in the Wyandanch Union Free
School District and the Shelter Island
Union Free School District.
Christine A. Finn
The Carle Place
Board of Education
appointed Finn as
the district’s next
superintendent
of schools. She
previously served as assistant superintendent
in Carle Place and as
superintendent of the Shelter Island
Union Free School District.
Kathleen Sottile
The Floral Park-Bellerose
School
District Board of
Education named
Sottile superintendent
of schools.
Sottile was assistant superintendent
at Sewanhaka Central High School
District. She also served as principal
at Floral Park Memorial High School
for 12 years.
James Cummings
The Deer Park
School District appointed
Cummings
as the new superintendent
of schools.
He had served as
Deer Park’s assistant
superintendent. He began his
Deer Park career in 1997 as a business
teacher at the high school.
Sharon Donnelly
The Harborfields
Central School
District appointed
Donnelly the
district’s new assistant
superintendent
for business.
She previously served as assistant
superintendent for business for the
Connetquot Central School District.
Paul Romanelli
The Long Beach
Public Schools
Board of Education
has selected
Romanelli as the
next assistant
superintendent for curriculum and
instruction. He previously served as
Long Beach Middle School Principal
since 2015.
Alicia Konecny
The Deer Park
School District
named Konecny as
its assistant superintendent
for pupil
personnel services.
She had served as principal of the
district’s May Moore Primary School
since 2004.
