DISTINGUISHED VOLUNTEER HONORED
Nearly 200 leaders united at the American Cancer Society’s annual
Evening of Hope at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho to celebrate the
organization’s local impact, recognize volunteers, and present the
distinguished Heart and Soul Award to Michael DeAmicis, of Amity
Harbor, who embodies the nonprofit’s mission by going beyond
expectations to benefit cancer patients and families on Long Island.

World-renowned vocalist Loren Allred, who sung the hit song “Never
Enough” in the award-winning movie The Greatest Showman, performed
at Shining Studios’ Le Cirque Gala, a fundraiser for scholarships for arts
programming for underprivileged families at Main Street Movie Theatre in
Port Washington
