■MIXING IT UP BLOODY BEER Ingredients: Tomato Paste Crushed Tomatoes Salt and Pepper 2 lemons and 2 limes Pickles and Sweet Pickle Brine Cayenne pepper flakes Favorite Beer (I recommend Brooklyn Lager) Candied Bacon (for garnish) Mixing Instructions (into a blender) Mix in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste Mix in 1 can of crushed tomatoes Mix in 1 ½ qt of water Mix in ½ can of sweet pickled brine Add 2 teaspons of salt, 1 teaspon of pepper Add cayenne pepper flakes Blend well so that the crushed tomatoes are fully blended GAME-DAY DRINK: It’s that time of the year – football season. These cocktails go great with American classics like sausages, burgers, and ribs. Yes a bloody beer is just like a bloody mary, but made with beer instead of vodka. Candied Bacon Instructions: Turn oven to 450 and let it heat up Place bacon on oven-safe pan and cover the bacon with brown sugar Place into oven for 15-20 minutes depending how crispy you like the bacon to get Once done, put into fridge to cool for 10-15 minutes Serving instructions Rim the glass with salt and pepper Fill the glass to the rim with ice Pour half a glass of bloody mix and the other half with your favorite beer! Squeeze a little lemon and lime Garnish with candied bacon and pickle! Serve!!! recipe
