LIC Flea It’s a Sweet Time at LIC Flea & Food LIC Flea & Food, Queens’ largest outdoor market, will hold their first Wine & Sweets Fest on July 22nd & 23rd The wine touring comes to you at this unlimited wine tasting event. The Wine & Sweets Fest is your chance to sip a selection of wines curated by an NYC wine professional and indulge in delicious and unique offerings from local sweets vendors. Think rosé and prosecco gummi bears from Dilena’s Dolcini, homemade caramels from Ruby Lu Confections, ice cream sandwiches from Melt Bakery, pink rosé cream puffs from Rare Bird Sweets, s’mores french toast from Stuf’d, and that’s just the beginning! LIC Flea & Food welcomes visitors every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-6PM with free admission. The markets’ festival season is in full swing with a ticketed special event each month offering unlimited tastings of wine and/or craft beers, often time accompanied by delicious food and sweets. On September 16th & 17th the focus is good ‘ole BBQ and Brews. The festival season closes on October 14th & 15th with the 2nd Annual Queens Beer Festival. Be sure to stop by every weekend to grab some local eats and shop the fabulous Flea vendors as well. Wait there’s more! The 3rd week of every month is the family flea where kids rule. Bring your kiddos for yummy treats like What’s the Dillaz quesadillas and Rita’s Water Ices. Then let them jump to their hearts content in the bounce house. Want your kids to be inspired?
