MANHATTAN’S
EVOLVING SKYLINE
Here’s a shot of a misty Manhattan morning taken from Gantry Plaza State
Park in Long Island City. The ever-changing skyline, with the addition of some
very significant buildings in the last five years, is typical of New York City’s
character. A constant turbulence of growing and transforming physical
iterations are forever reshaping the city. This evolution is no different
today as when these changes occurred at other times in the city’s
history. This evolving physicality from the confluences of commerce, real
estate and financeare what makes NYC so special in the eyes of the world.
