Burt & Barbara’s Gifts from the Heart
Volunteers of America (VOA) are committed to helping older adults age with dignity and retain
access to a network of caregivers and other community support that keeps them engaged and
not isolated. They have two residences that provide safe, comfortable, low-cost housing with on-
site services to formerly homeless single adults, veterans and seniors with limited income.
Burt and Barbara's Gifts of the Heart is a year-round VOA program to ensure that every adult
in their care who lives by themselves, has no involved family or runs the risk of being alone on
birthdays or special occasions will not be forgotten.
Their services are especially crucial during the holiday season, and Cryder Point Community
Affairs (CPCA) will be donating funds to support this worthwhile program. To make the most of
Cryder Point’s contribution, for every dollar that Cryder Point residents donate, CPCA will match
the community’s contribution up to a total of $250. So the more you give, the more Cryder Point
can give!
Here’s how to participate in Burt and Barbara's Gifts of the Heart:
Checks should be made payable to “Burt & Barbara’s Gifts from the Heart” and given to your
concierge. We will send it along with CPCA’s donation to the kind folks at VOA.
We will accept checks through December 14th. Your contribution is fully tax deductible.
Thank you for your support!
