4 C R Y D E R P O I N T DECEMBER As announced, there will be a shareholders’ meeting on December 8 which will focus on the 2017 budget. We will also be holding a separate meeting on December 19 to fi eld questions shareholders may have regarding building maintenance. Both meetings will be held in the 01 Community Room. I am pleased to report that the broken pipe at the back of the 41 Building has been repaired. As expected it was quite a job, and as of this writing, blacktop remains to be done to fully complete the reparations. The good news is that we had a couple of days of continual rain and thus far no water accumulation has been reported in the 41 garage, so it looks like the repair did the trick. Work on the staircase to the beach will begin early December, and lighting for the dock is being worked on. When we start the temporary parking lot renovation in April, we will be addressing lighting in the greenspace, and we will also be replacing the lights at the front entrances. While we’re at it, we will also be looking at replacements for the buildings’ canopies. In the meantime, the holidays are fast approaching. Save the dates for a couple of events coming up: Friday, December 16 for a kids’ PJ Party and Sunday, January 8 for our annual New Year’s Brunch. See inside for details. As we wrap up another eventful year here at Cryder Point, on behalf of everyone on the Board I wish everyone healthy, happy holidays and all the best for the New Year. I also want to take this opportunity to thank Bill Newell, Stacey Pankavich, Maxine Schiller and all of the great Cryder Point maintenance staff and concierges for their hard work throughout the year. Thank you one and all! Till next time.
