 6 CRYDER POINT COURIER | AUGUST 2020 | WWW.QUEENSCOURIER.COM
Overall, it’s been very gratifying to see
the improvements that have been made
to our property since then but we must
continue to maintain and improve our
buildings, while at the same time establish
 priorities and remain fiscally responsible.

Please list any interests, talent, education
 or experience you possess that
you feel would serve as an asset to the
Cryder Point Owners’ Corp. Board of
 Directors.
My experience on the Board has called
upon my 30+ years of managerial experience,
  including budget planning, working
 cooperatively within a group, and
 understanding the importance of being
 both decisive and fair.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
In addition to the ongoing maintenance
of our infrastructure, I would like
to evaluate both current and longer-term
aesthetic projects, such as looking at
renovating the lobbies, which I believe
would add to our property value. It’s
been unfortunate that we have not been
able to address the lobbies, largely because
they had to be sidelined because
 of the mandated elevator modernization
this year. The lobbies would be a largescale,
expensive project and I am hoping
we will be able start planning in earnest
in 2021. It will take considerable time to
plan carefully both in terms of securing
bids, working on the design and, of
 course, determining cost.
 NAME: EILEEN EGAN ANNECHINO
 BUILDING / APARTMENT # 41/1O
 OCCUPATION: Retired Energy Efficiency
 Professional
 Does your occupation require extensive
 travel? No
Do you spend more than one (1)
 month a year away? No
Are you available for at least ten (10) of
the twelve (12) monthly evening meetings?
  Yes
How many years have you been a Cryder
 Point Shareholder? 7
Are you currently a resident? Yes
Please explain why you are seeking
election to the Board of Directors.
Having served on the Board for the last
4+ years I believe I can still contribute
in a meaningful, positive way for Cryder
 Point shareholders. There have been
 several projects, including energy cost
reductions, that I have been happy to see
through to fruition for our community.
Please list any interests, talent, education
 or experience you possess that
you feel would serve as an asset to the
Cryder Point Owners’ Corp. Board of
 Directors.
I have 40 years business experience
with a Masters Degree in Organizational
 Leadership. My experience includes program
 development, contract procurement
 and negotiation, and consumer
related activities. I have always been an
active volunteer and enjoy doing the
 same in our community.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
I currently work with a fluid team
of Cryder Point shareholders on the
Quality of Life Committee. Over the
last four years the team has organized
and delivered food and warm coats to
 community based organizations, sponsored
 beach clean-ups and social activities
for the entire community. As the
Board liaison I would like to continue
 this work with shareholders enriching
 our community.
Has Cryder Point ever held its annual meeting in August?
It’s certainly unusual, but then again, so is everything
 these days.
This year there are six candidates for the five seats that
are up for election this year. All five incumbent Board
members who are eligible to run have decided to do so
again. In alphabetical order, they are: Jill Davis, Eileen
Egan Annechino, Dorene Finnegan, Louis Garcia and
Tom Wise. In addition, one new candidate, Lewis Finkelman,
is throwing his hat into the ring.
 Candidates’ Night
To help you make the most informed decision, we will
be holding a Candidates’ Night on Monday, August 10
at 6:30pm, during which each candidate will speak for a
few minutes and field questions from the audience. Please
join us poolside for this important forum. In the event
of rain, we will hold the meeting on Tuesday, August 11.
 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting
Since we cannot safely hold the annual meeting indoors,
we will be convening poolside this year. Please
be sure to attend the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting
on Thursday, August 20 at 6:30pm. The rain date has
been set for Monday, August 24. If you cannot attend in
person, please complete your proxy and have someone
submit it for you, and encourage your neighbors to do so
 as well. Every vote counts!
Following are reprints of each candidate’s resume, presented
in alphabetical order by last name, along with a
photo of each. The resumes are necessarily brief, but we
hope they give you an idea of what each candidate’s goals
 and perspectives are.
