 AUGUST 14
 Out &
 About
 BY JILL DAVIS
We’re seeing more venues reopening, albeit with limited hours and
restrictions, and face coverings and social distancing are the norm
these days for outdoor activities. Still, there are opportunities to get
outside and enjoy some fresh air.
The drive-in mode of entertainment continues to gain traction this
summer, ranging from concerts to movies at both large and small sites,
so you can enjoy some good music or a favorite film.

 TILLES CENTER DRIVE-IN
 CONCERTS
 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville
 Saturday & Sunday, August 8 & 9
 tillescenter.org
 Tilles continues
 its
 s u m m e r
 music series
 with two
 tribute band
 concerts—but
 that’s pretty
 much where
 the similarity
 ends.
 S out h e r n
Charm will play on August 8; it’s a seven piece tribute
celebrating the music of Carrie Underwood, Miranda
Lambert and Kacey Musgraves. The show features Jenny
Leigh Miller in three parts with wardrobe and hair
changes (sounds exhausting!) who takes the audience
on a journey that highlights the mega-hits of each of
these current leading ladies of Country music.
The band Frontiers takes over on August 9 for a nostalgic
“journey” down memory lane. Frontiers is considered
the world’s number one tribute to the 1970s rock
band, Journey. Naturally, they cover all the big hits, taking
you back to the late 70’s during Journey’s magical
inception. Tickets for either concert are $79/car; $99 for
 preferred parking.
