Yes

Please explain why you are seeking
election to the Board of Directors.
I have been on the Board since 2011,
and it’s been very gratifying to see the
improvements that have been made to
our property since then. However, the
work goes on, as we must continue to
maintain and improve our buildings,
while at the same time establish priorities
and remain fiscally responsible.
Please list any interests, talent, education
or experience you possess that
you feel would serve as an asset to the
Cryder Point Owners’ Corp. Board of
Directors.
My experience on the Board has called
upon my 30+ years of managerial experience,
including budget planning, working
cooperatively within a group, and
understanding the importance of being
both decisive and fair.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
In addition to the ongoing maintenance
of our infrastructure, I would like
to evaluate both current and longer-term
aesthetic projects, such as further improvement
to the grounds and looking at
the possibility of renovating the lobbies,
which I believe would add to our property
value. This would be a large-scale
project for which we would need to plan
long-term and budget judiciously.

Was the Chief Fire Marshal of NYC
and managed the Bureau of Fire Investigation.
As a result I have a great deal of
knowledge about NYC government operations
and building codes, which is useful
in serving on the Board.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
I would like to see continued improvement
of our infrastructure.

at Cryder Point.

I feel that my engineering training,
my business experience coupled with
knowledge acquired during many
years working in financial industry, my
working ethics, enthusiasm and very
persistent personality combined with 7
years experience of service on a Cryder
Point Board of Directors allowed me to
contribute already and hopefully will
continue to benefit CPOC Board of Directors
for the next 2 years.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
Despite the fact that for the last few
years we lived through enormously big
development at our site, thanks to Cryder
Point staff, our infrastructure and
grounds were maintained adequately.
But there is always room for improvement.
After the Seawall restoration and
terrace project completed we are concentrating
on further improvement of
our regular maintenance, planning and
implementing preventive infrastructure
maintenance procedures.

When I was first elected to the Board, we
were faced with many challenges. Repair to
our balconies had just begun, we had a failing
seawall, and we were still using heating
oil. Although these major tasks have been
completed, and our grounds look as good
as ever, there are still many challenges on
the horizon. There are required NYC DOB
upgrades that need to be carried out on our
elevators in the coming years. There are also
many areas that residents want to see renovated,
including our hallways, lobbies, and a
creation of a gym. I am seeking re-election
to the Board to continue in this effort.
Please list any interests, talent, education
or experience you possess that

I believe that my experience serving on
our Board (6 years total, 2 as Secretary)
is my greatest asset. Working closely with
our current Board, who for the most part
has served together for those 6 years, we
have accomplished a lot, with a lot more
work needed to be done.
What changes would you like to see
made at Cryder Point, and why?
I would like to see the continued financial
stability of our community; including
responsible budgeting of upcoming
projects while maintaining a healthy
reserve.
