Welcome Back! It’s Pool Season!
The Cryder Point pool was pristine and ready for business on opening day, May 26. Making it all the
better is the return of Elite to take care of the facilities and, of course, our pool members.

Of special note is that Shaun McNally is back as
our Pool Manager. Renewing members will
remember Shaun from last season, when he
received “rave reviews” for his courtesy, professionalism
and upbeat personality. Apparently, the feeling is mutual.
He grinned, “I’m so happy to be back. It’s awesome!”
For those of you who don’t know Shaun, he’s a student
at Queens College, where he recently switched majors.
“I was a business and media studies major,” he said, “but
it wasn’t right for me. I decided I want to be a Phys Ed
teacher.” He’s been with Elite since 2011 where he worked
his way up to Assistant Manager at Cambridge before
joining us here last year.
Joining Shaun this year is Taylor Kyles as our new
Assistant Manager. Taylor is going into his senior year
at Syracuse University majoring in Public Relations
with a minor in Sociology. Friends recommended him
to Elite three years ago, and he’s been at Water’s Edge
until now.
It should also be noted that almost all of the rest of the
pool staff is the same as last year. “When we called them,”
Shaun said, “they jumped to come back here.” New this
year are Katelyn, Kelly and Gia (Gia, we hear that you live
at Le Havre, so no excuse being late for work)!
Both Shaun and Taylor give Elite kudos for their dedication
to training and educating their staff to give everyone
the best experience possible. Taylor explained,
“There’s always room to improve. If you’re not improving,
you’re not looking hard enough.”
With terrific attitudes like these, we’re sure to have another
super season, and be sure to say hi to Shaun, Taylor,
and the rest of the crew next time you’re at the pool.
