 Uncommon Goods and Flatbush
 Caton Market have
 announced a partnership to
 bring the market’s Caribbean
 goods, beginning with its Haitian
 mortar & pestle to the

 “This partnership of two

 said Lisa Thompson, director
 at Flatbush Caton Market.
“Having the ability to sell a
 product on Uncommon Goods’
 e-commerce platform will
allow our vendors to reach a
 national audience and share a
 piece of Haitian culture with
 a diverse array of shoppers,”
 she added.
 The traditional handmade
 Haitian mortar & pestle
 (pilon) is handcrafted in Haiti
 alongside the Flatbush Caton
 Market vendors Marie George,
 Ernst Charmant, Rezile Alcius
 and Primate Garconnet, who
 import the product to Uncommon
 Goods in preparation for
 distribution.
 “The Haitian wooden mortar
