OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH
HOLDS DINNER DANCE
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church held its 113th anniversary dinner dance on Sunday, October
27. The dinner dance honored Elizabeth Camarillo and Cristian Fernandez and recognized
monsignor John Ruvo for 65 years of service. Additionally, the event also celebrated
Antoinette and Carmine Campo’s 70-year wedding anniversary.

‘HALLOWEEN FUN’ EVENT
Assemblywoman Karines Reyes held a ‘Halloween Fun’ event on Thursday, October 31. The
event featured Halloween festivities including costumes, candy and trick-or-treating.

ST. THERESA SCHOOL HOLDS ‘CANCER WALKATHON’
St. Theresa School held its second annual ‘Cancer Walkathon’ on Thursday, November 7.
Students, teachers and faculty walked for people who have died from, are battling, and who
have survived cancer. The walkathon featured a performance by the fourth and fi fth graders,
who sang a song called ‘Kick That Cancer Song’ in front of the entire school.
