WILLIAMSBRIDGE CENTER HOLDS KENDO EVENT
On Thursday, October 24, Williamsbridge Center, located on Tomlinson Avenue, held a Japanese
themed Kendo event, which was performed by Williamsbridge Center’s faculty and staff.

STREET AND SIDEWALK SYRINGE CLEANUP
NYC Parks, NYC Department of Health and NYC Department of Sanitation were recently joined
by Councilman Rafael Salamanca and Councilwoman Diana Ayala to announce a new environmental
unit that will focus on clearing syringes from the borough’s streets and sidewalks.

HALLOWEEN VISIT FROM BIONDI
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
On Thursday, October 31, students from the Biondi Elementary School came to Williamsbridge
Center, located on Tomlinson Avenue, to visit the residents and staff and show off their Halloween
costumes and go trick-or-treating throughout the center.

RAISES FUNDS FOR POTS
As part of its ‘Stop the Hunger’ campaign, St. Barnabas Hospital
Health System recently raised more than $1,000 for Part of the
Solution, a one-stop model for providing coordinated and comprehensive
care for addressing poverty.
